A couple of nights ago, I watched Miss Philippines (a beauty pageant where the ultimate winner represents the country to the Miss World Pageant). As usual, as expected in any pageant, the ladies were very beautiful and sexy. As I look at them, I can't help but envy them because I am not as "physically gifted" as they are (of course I have my own "assets"). It was during the question and answer portion that I suddenly felt luckier than all of them. 99% can't even answer very simple questions. They can't even properly express their opinions about prevailing issues. OMG!

I know... I know... They can't simply get girls with brains alone but they also should be beautiful. I personally believe that there are a lot of girls out there with BOTH beauty and brains. The scouts should be more careful in choosing the participants, the committee should carefully screen those who will be in the final list of candidates. Besides, whoever wins shall represent the country. Wouldn't it be better if the world recognizes the Philippines not only for their beautiful women but also for their intelligence?
