      Meredith and Gretchen landed on second place, their best yet! Ron and Kelly who landed on the mat last were lucky that it was a non-elimination leg. Next time, I hope it would be Rob and Amber who lands on the mat last, on an elimination leg! I would rather listen to the bickering of Ron and Kelly than see Rob and Amber cheat everyone else. There's a great chance for Meredith and Gretchen, I hope they'll make it!

It seems that everyone is into blogging now. Even FRIENDSTER is into blogging! Now, people with friendster accounts can have their blogs. I just hope to see good blogs that I can learn a lot from!
I've been very busy for the past few semesters that I can't go to places I would like to see. I'm willing to give up that time especially for my PhD (which took so much of my time, and still is because I had to take extra units!). But on Owen's wedding, NO WAY! I have to be there for it. I am a service awardee this coming August and how I wish I would go up the stage and personally accept my plaque and cash award.. But Owen's wedding is more important. Going there means being with my relatives and friends whom I haven't seen in a long time and it also means travelling. I really miss travelling. (Hello, any invites?) LOLZ!
One of the things I do when I travel is to learn the basic language. Sometimes, I ask my foreign students to teach me the basics like how to say good morning, good afternoon or good evening. And I really find it amusing. I enrolled Nihonggo this summer because the dean of the graduate school required me to do so (though it's not part of my curriculum). I am enjoying every moment of it. It's really very difficult though. Learning how write in Japanese it a different story. I don't think I would go that far. Hehehe!
I got this co-teacher who just arrived from her honeymoon. Without anyone asking her, she keeps bragging about her rendezvous in Thailand (of course with his hubby!). Duh? First timer? Definitely! As if she's the only one who can afford it. Like I don't even have to wait for my honeymoon to go there! Haller!! The dean of the graduate school seems not to know what she should do. She makes spur-of-the-moment decisions that affect a lot of people and yes, that includes me! I could have finished my PhD last March if not for her! Dammit! Well, SOME PEOPLE SUCK!
It's the first day of classes for this summer term. I like my schedule and the subjects assigned to me this summer term but I hate the fact that I have to give up one subject which I really want to teach. I had to give up HBO (Human Behavior in Organizations) because I need that time for my Niponggo class. I haven't enrolled yet though 'coz I have to be sure about my schedule first.
It's the last day of vacation. Summer classes will start tomorrow. I just hope it will start well.
LJ - it's been a year since the last time I saw her. She's in London, working. Soon, she'll be walking down the aisle. God! I miss my bestfriend! Amiel - the last time I saw her was after Christmas 2004. She's a former student of mine but eventually became my friend. Kulit! Sobra! Mai - also a former student of mine. The last time I saw her was I think after their graduation. But we do keep in touch. Erick - my kuya. He is one of the closest friends I have in the university where I teach. However, he's no longer with us. He is currently in Australia. The last time I saw him was before schoolyear 2004-2005 started. We only get in touch through Friendster.
 cool pair!  This is my favorite pair in Amazing Race 7. Though not as young and "strong" as the other pairs, this couple remains to be the coolest ever! They have a great fighting spirit and it's the love they have for each other that keeps them going. While the other pairs keep shouting and swearing at each other, Meredith and Gretchen keep their cool and just get on with the race.
